Worst Scotch Product for long term use.

I’ve been using Scotch tapes most of my life. This “sure start” tape is the first line I could never recommend! It sticks to paper just fine and is very easy to pull off the roll- BUT it does NOT stick to itself! Any slight bump or roll over will pull off all tape that has been taped to another piece of tape. I purchase approximately ten 6 packs per year. This “sure start” is cheaper but is also CHEAP- JUNK. Buy only the red or blue rolls. Heavy Duty is the best!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried over the holidays for packaging and shipping--easy starting of tape without the splits that some tapes make with little slivers of tape. Unwond smoothly. Easy to use, Love the Scotch brand!

Quietest packing tape every

This is the best packing tape I have used. It comes onto the package smoothly and quietly. No tugging and pulling to get it to unroll.

Perfect Packing Tape

Being an avid online shopper I am constantly in need of packing tape to return items that didn't fit right or were damaged on arrival. This tape is perfect. True to the advertising it is easy to find the end each time and I didn't feel the need to fold it over for the next use. I had a plastic packing tape holder and tried this both on the holder and without. Of course the holder had a cutting tool on it which made the process even easier. This is not tape that you can tear with your bare hands - just like every other packing tape. It held well and did exactly what I needed it to!

Terrible Quality control

I bought Scotch rather than a lesser quality tape. How disappointed I was to find that the cardboard around which the tape is wrapped was all bent. And this of course made dispensing it through the roller nearly impossible. Bad quality control in the manufacturing assembly line obviously. Come on people, take it up a notch and fix your automation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super strong without the struggle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a roll of Scotch "Sure Start" shipping/packaging tape to try. Finding and pulling the end of the tape is super easy. There is no struggle peeling it back, opposed to the multiple started shreds of past packaging tapes. The tape feels lighter than other version of Scotch packaging tape, yet it is just as strong and sticky. While in the tape holder, the Scotch Sure Start tape freely peels from the roll allowing it to easily flow while pulling it across a box without the shudder and nose.
I would recommend this to a friend!
