Five of these dozen pens literally popped and leaked ink on medical records in my office..I hope I am not audited on them Disappointed as Staples brand products usually compete with the name brand items equally. I do not recommend you get these.

What impresses me the most is that I have some that are two years old and still going strong. The only reason I keep on buy a few boxes a year is because my students take them! The clicker is so much better than caps that get lost and the ink isn't runny and dries quickly enough.

BEST RED PEN

My previous employer had these pens in red and everyone loved them. As an engineering company we did a lot of peer reviews and self-checks and these pens have a vibrant red ink that went down smooth fast and bold. My new employer doesn't have any red pens and I couldn't find these in store so I have put them on order. The only drawback is that they sometimes don't want to write on some sticky notes.
