"Intensely bold" is no lie!

I received the trial pack in the mail to try for review. I made the mistake of going with this one first, which is the boldest. I can handle bold, but this was BOLD. The taste was bitter and the aftertase and smell reminded me of burnt coffee beans. Even my addition of flavored creamer couldn't save it for me. I found with the Barista Prima line-the lighter the roast, the better the taste.
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great cup of bold coffee

This was one of four samples sent to us and I was thrilled when this brewed and my coffee had that dark, bold taste that is missing from many other varieties of the Kcups. If you want a strong, flavorful cup of coffee, this is it!
Pros: BOLD, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too strong for me

It smelled really good. To say it was "Bold" is an understatement. My dad has drank over brewed [@] bulk french roast coffee for years. Reminded me of it to the "T". I would keep a few around for him, but for me its like burned coffee. My friend works at [@] and said the more roasted the bean the lower the caffeine. I don't know if its true, but regardless this coffee is not for me.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Too Bold
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best of the pack

My favorite from the trial pack. I will absolutely try a couple of 5 packs to see if my opinion stands. It takes more than one cup for me if I like it and only 1 cup if I don't. This had an incredible aroma, lovely taste and measures up to European Roast it claims to be. Actually reminded me more of Italian than French Roast. Very good cup of coffee.
I received this as a sample and so glad I didn't waste my money on it. Bitter aroma and nasty, bitter aftertaste. Reminded my of the old drip coffee that burned in the pot. No recommendations. Give me Free Trade Columbian or Donut lovers anytime.
Cons: Bitter aroma, Bitter taste
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only one I buy now

I'm in the military and in the intelligence career field; I'm also currently deployed. All of this adds up to a lot of coffee drinking. I've tried many different varieties offered by Keurig and frankly, not impressed with most. The flavored ones tend to have a bitter spine to them and several of the non-flavored varieties don't stand well without some sugar or creamer. In the Barista Prima varieties, however, you have a strong, bold, and smooth cup of coffee. If you like the weaker blends, this one's not for you; while it's not overpowering, it is, thankfully, a really solid cup of coffee. I love the body, I love the flavor, and truly....it's the only one I buy anymore.
