I only buy Barista French Roast. It has a rich, dark, smoky flavor that satisfies every time. Bitter in a good way but smooth finish. Sheer perfection.

I'm trying all kinds of French Roast coffees but I've yet to find the flavor I'm looking for comparing it with New Orleans, Cafe Dumont. There is a certain taste in French roast but I haven't found it yet!

I like dark roast coffee. I usually drink Barista Prima Italian Roast or this French Roast. Great taste and when I get tired of one, I drink the other for the variety. Both are the best of all the brands.

This is excellent coffee if you love a French Roast. I tend to use a flavored creamer with a dark roast, but this is just fine if you take your coffee black. It's not at all bitter.
