A good strong cup for in the morning! I ordered it as a sample 5 to try and despite the price I am ordering a full box now! I like a strong but smooth cup of coffee and this fits the bill and puts the $2 and $3 coffee shop bold cup of black coffee to shame since it's under a buck! Strong enough to brew on travel cup size and take with me in the morning to, whereas normally I just brew it on the large mug setting.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter
Cons: The inflated price
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great flavorful dark roast

For the dark roast extra bold lover, this is about as good as it gets. This coffee is fresh-tasting, rich, complex, and strong; just how I like it. I find it also very smooth and without any unpleasant aftertaste. However, frankly this cost more than the already expensive other brands and is just not that much better than GM Double Black Diamond or Timothy's Parisian Nights to warrant the extra cost.
I've been searching for a k-cup roast that's not too watery. I am especially attracted to french roasts. I received a sample variety pack from Barista Prima Coffeehouse that had four different roasts. In the packaging, it asked if I could write a review online and I thought "psst! Why? It's just going to be watery." Boy was I wrong. This is by far, the best french roast I've tried from any Keurig brand. This roast is for REAL coffee lovers. If you're more into fruity, caramel, vanilla-type roasts, this is not for you. If you're into bold blends, definitely give it a try! It's very strong tasting, and strong smelling. As my father says, "It'll put hair on your chest." Oh, and if you care to know, I'm a 23 y/o female graphic designer. I've tried many different coffees in my life, and this is a keeper and staple.
I have tried the Barista Prima Italian Roast in the past, which is excellent. So, I decided to try their French Roast too, and it's GOOD!! Mmmm, really smooth, full-bodied and no bitterness. I highly recommend.
If you like coffee that has taste this is the best your going to find. I like my coffee DARK AND THICK, this is the closest your going to find. Better than GM bold or Emeril hands down!
