Too Strong

This one was a bit too strong for me, even with lots of cream added.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am a coffee snob, and I like my 1 or 2 cups-a-day to be flavorful and good strong taste. This did it!

Excellent bold taste

I start off my day with a nice strong cup of coffee. Usually Double Black Diamond. This is right up there with an excellent flavor that lasts for the entire cup.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Roast

Pleasant French Roast - Finally

Normally, I'm not a fan of French Roasts, but this one balanced a robust flavor without getting too bitter. Definitely a recommend.

I don't see any cons to this French roast coffee. I received the barista sample pack in the mail. This was the first one I brewed. I was really surprised at the quality that could come from a K-cup. I then tried the other brews. Didn't compare. As good as coffee that I've had in Paris! This is rich, smooth, and smoky with a clean finish! Ordering today!!

Good Cup of Coffee

Received the pods in the mail yesterday, and of course, tried them right away. The French Roast was my third favorite. A good cup of coffee, but I prefer a more bold flavor. Still good, though.

Strong coffee flavor, but bitter

I tend to prefer a dark roast, but this was too bitter for my taste. It is definitely a strong coffee but this one was too harsh for me.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma

Lives up to the description

When I was younger, I drank a lot of French Roast but have got away from dark roasts in recent years because they tend to just taste like ash. This one, however, lives up to the description of being "sweet and smoky" that was listed on the sample box. It has a nice, complex flavor that's both dark and a little sweet. I'll definitely be buying this one.
