High Quality Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using these Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens while studying or working. I'm currently studying for the LSATs and these pens have become a go-to when reviewing my work. These pens are well-designed and easy to write with. I love the soft ergonomic grip area around the pen- it makes it comfortable to write and hold the pen for longer periods of time and makes it easier to grip the pen overall. I was also really impressed with the quality of the ink! This pen glides across my paper easily while writing and the ink has a strong and brightly pigmented color that allows for easy readability and marking. Despite this bright pigment I haven't had any problems with the ink bleeding through to the other side of the paper. One of my favorite things about this pen is how quickly the ink dries. I have a tendency to smudge ink as I write but because this ink is so quick-drying I haven't had any problems with smudging or accidentally transferring ink to another page. Overall I really like these pens and I will definitely be continuing to use them as a part of my study routine!

Spectacular Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to be very picky about the pens that I use. I want them to write smoothly not bleed through the paper and feel good in my hand. This pen outperformed in all of my criteria for a great pen. The flattened grip made this pen super comfortable to write with which is a feature I wish more of my favorite pens had. The ink quality matched and even surpassed the quality of some of the name brand pens that I purchase on a regular basis. The thing that I liked most about this pen is how smooth writing with it feels. The pen glides over the paper with ease and I did not have any issues with the ink skipping as I was writing. Overall I really loved this pen and I hope to find it in a variety of different colors. As a teacher I write all day and am always looking for pens that I like.

Glides on Paper Easily

I am loving these Staples ProGel Retractable Pens as the ink glides so smoothly on paper. The red color is fantastic for grading! I appreciate the comfort grip. The push button at the top removes the contention of losing a pen cap. Overall I would definitely purchase these pens or recommend them to someone else.

Bold And Smudge Free Writing

They have the super comfortable and easy to hold grips with the perfect ridges for maximum comfort while writing. They have very great quality ink THAT STAYS CONSISTENT throughout the entirety of use of each pen which is a lot of times an issue for many different brands/styles of gel pens. One of my biggest pet peeves with gel pens is going to use it when the ink level is still nearly full but yet it won’t come out when I try writing with it. So I’ve really put these to the test before leaving this review; & I can say I was honestly surprised that I ended up using all the ink up in one of the pens and NOT ONCE did it ever give me trouble with ink flow when I used it. Came out bright and bold every single use. My other huge pet peeve with gel pens is smudging which everyone knows is a very common issue when writing with them. But again I used an entire pen full of ink out of this pack & never experienced smudging when writing a full page moving my hand across the pages as I write. Also I should add it took me a month to use up the ink from just one of these pens and that was with plenty of use almost every single day of that month. So the ink lasts surprisingly long. You’re also able to monitor the ink levels of these pens thanks to the transparent barrel design. Overall I love these pens! I only leave a 4 star rating because I like my gel pen tips to be just a little smaller for thinner lines when writing. But other than that the design grips ink & overall quality of these retractable gel pens is near perfect!

Smooth and bright

Smooth write and comfortable grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher I’m always looking for a reliable pen with a smooth write that doesn’t run. This gel pen is it! While red isn’t my preferred color to correct papers in this red has a slightly pink hue which made the red appear less harsh - perfect for correcting first graders’ work and perfect for the holiday season! This pen dries on contact and glides easily while making a star on my students’ work. I would definitely purchase in additional colors!

Nice Red Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples ProGel Retractable Gel pen is a great pen for everyday use. It is comfortable to write with and has a nice grip. The ink is smooth and dries quickly without smearing. I have been using the pen on a daily basis for list making at home (the red ink is especially festive this time of year for making Christmas lists) and making notes at work. Overall this pen is well constructed ink looks great on the page and writes like a dream!

Smooth and Comfortable Pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work from home and use different colored pens to mark statements. I love the Staples ProGel Bold 1.0 mm Red Pens for this purpose. Not only are the pens comfortable to write with but the red ink is bold and lasting. The design which shows the ink level is a nice touch. I also like that they come in a 12 pack! I most like that the ProGel is a smooth writing pen which looks nice on paper.
