The Pen is Mighter than the Sword

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "The pen is mightier than the sword" is a phrase that couldn't be more true especially when it comes to fulfilling my family’s continuing education needs. We require a pen that we can rely on and amongst all the pens we've tried the Staples Gel pen has never let us down. Even if my kids leave it lying around it always writes without fail. Its ink flows silk smooth and dark making it visible even in low-lit rooms. It never smudges or bleeds through the paper even when my kids use it to sketch and color in their drawings. It dries quickly and lasts a long time without losing its quality. Above all else with a comfortable grip to hold for those long hours of writing. When I take notes for my studies I need a pen that won't fail me. I have to write a lot and wasting time on pens that don't work is not an option for me. As a busy mom with a household to run and kids to take care of every minute is precious. That's why having a reliable pen is not just important but crucial to me. The simplicity of even a pen is often overlooked but once you find the right one you'll understand the quality you can get with the Staples ProGel Pen. Knowing that I have the pen that meets my family's needs to journal our feelings and thoughts is a great relief. I definitely recommend seeking out the Staples ProGel Pen brand and its various colors; you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent Everyday Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen is an excellent everyday pen that I keep two of in my jacket sleeve. I have been using them for about two weeks now with no real issues. My handwriting is a little messy so I need smooth pens that will glide across the paper easily without hanging up on the paper and this pen meets the mark. The ink dries quickly on regular paper and won't smudge. If you are writing on something a little shinier like an envelope give it a little more time to dry. I decided to try and smear the ink on an envelope right away and there was some minor smearing as shown in pic. The grip has three ribbed sides that keep the pen comfortably in your hand and steady while writing. I'm not sure how long the ink will last because I usually end up misplacing it well before they run out. Comparing this to the last pens I bought this one is smoother by a long shot.

I don’t have any issues with smearing or smudging as long it has had a few seconds to dry. I particularly like the grip on this pen too it’s very comfortable to hold.

Good Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use pens a lot as part of my job working in the hospital. My go-to pens are Zebra brand. These Staples pens seem to be Staples’ version of the Pilot G-2. I compared a .7 blue G-2 with a .7 blue Staples ProGel pen. I would say they’re very similar! The ink is a bit more sluggish in the Staples pen but not overly so. The dry time is also similar and good for a gel pen. I would say that this pen would be good for left-handed people because the dry time is quick. The Staples pen has a bit of an advantage over the G-2 with the grip which is a little more triangular than the perfectly round G-2 which I prefer. The Staples pen is also more affordably priced than the G-2 which is why I would personally recommend it as a good alternative.

They are not as good as the Staples Retractable Gel. The ink doesn't dry fast and smudges. I had to order the Staples Gel online because the two Staples near me no longer carry this better product.

Love these pens

The medium tip makes writing precise and ultra crisp lines. The black gel ink is the perfect color and saturation on all papers used making writing smooth and professional looking. The ink is even and not to wet so drying time is quick without any smudging. A once click retractable design eliminates the need for a cap.This is a type of pen I will reach for every time feeling both comfortable and preferred writing style. This type of gel pen making the experience of writing professional and pleasing to the eye.The basic outer casing is also my pen style of choice for work and home.
