My pens leaked in their pen cup after a couple months and none use. I had about fifteen pens in my cup holder on my desk and at least two exploded in the pen cup. I have no idea why. Never buying again

Solid blue pen

The blue color is vibrant and way more fun than black! Comfortable to hold and easy to store since it retractable. I would recommend this pen to anyone looking for a solid blue pen with no frills

Smooth and Quick Dry Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the Staples Pro-gel pen. This pen is great quality and writes so smooth. The ink flows nicely to compared to other gel pens I have used in the past. The ink glides on with ease and seems to even make my handwriting better. I am very happy with the ink dry time as well. Other gel pens take some time to dry and smear afterwards. I have not had any smearing with 2 weeks of using this pen. The pen has a comfort grip making the pen feel nice to hold. I like the way the pen feels when writing the most.

Smooth but Thicc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen is a pretty good option for those that like to use gel pens. It writes very smoothly. it has this great balance where although it feels smooth you still feel the paper under it and it has that "bite" instead of the tip feeling like it's slipping all over the place. I also really like the grip on this pen. It's contoured such that there are 3 flat and ribbed sides as opposed to typical grips that just wrap around the pen. The shape of this grip perfectly fits the way I hold the pen with my thumb index and middle fingers and makes for a very comfortable writing experience. The ink also seems to dry pretty quickly I didn't have any issues with smudging or anything like that. My only gripe about this pen is that it comes out pretty thick for a 0.7mm. I wish it came out a little bit thinner. However I typically use 0.5mm pens so this is more of a personal preference. Overall great pen!

Very smooth pen with quick dry time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using this Staples ProGel Pen! I work from home and have to write a lot of notes to keep track of my tasks and this pen was perfect for the job. I prefer gel pens over ballpoint because I like how smooth they are and the writing is always very clear with no "skipping" ink. This ProGel pen was no different and is definitely my new go-to pen for work and to keep around the house. I was very impressed by the smoothness and the dry time. I tried swiping my finger over a line as soon as I wrote it and there was absolutely no smudging. The feel of the pen is very similar to other gel pens so it was comfortable to hold and write with but not any different than most others. I did notice that if you write VERY slowly the gel will bleed a bit more and make the print thicker but I think that happens with most gel pens. But even with a thicker line it still passed the smudge test! Overall this is a great pen if you prefer gel over ballpoint.
