I haven't needed to purchase a staple removed for some time but dropped mine on concrete and broke off one of the leverage wings. My husband picked up a box of three of the "new style" but it's certainly not improved. My hands a dainty and need the old fashioned wings for leverage. Sorry I don't like the modern version!
