These staple removers have locks on each to keep teeth folded. The locks do not unlock smoothly and are smaller than ones I have used for 30 years with a puny spring. I cannot recommend this Inferior product which was the ONLY staple remover in Staples. I find it ironic that there was an enormous selection of staplers but only one box of three removers. How about offering the grownup staple remover without locks and a decent spring?

You need to add the side tabs back to the item. You can't get the appropriate leverage to use the tool without them.
