I’ve used staple removers frequently but storing them in my desk drawer was potentially hazardous. This one has a lock which keeps the prongs closed. Thank you. I was also surprised to find when I opened the box that I got not one but three of them. Bottom line a great value a great product and safe to use or store.

The size of the box implied (to me) that it contained ONE STANDARD-SIZED staple remover. HOWEVER it had three teeny tiny removers that stuck together and did not perform well at all. I wound up using my fingernails to get out the staples. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
