Good but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: * Smooth writing experience * Available in a variety of colors * Comfortable grip Cons: * Ink can bleed through thin paper Overall Staples Progel pens seem like a good option for everyday use. They are comfortable to write with and deliver bold color. However if you are looking for a pen that is guaranteed not to bleed through thin paper you may want to consider another option.

No smear pen great for Lefties

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens actually live up to their description on the packaging. I was so excited to try them I didn’t even get a picture of the package before I ripped into it and took a pen to try it on everything. The package boasts “Ultra-smooth Quick dry Long-lasting” and I would have to say I agree with every one of these. There were no breaks in the writing any time I wrote with the pens (and I tried them all not just one). The ink was consistent and did not blotch up. The ink dried so quickly; these would be great pens for Lefties! I usually prefer my pens with a finer point but for 0.7 this is a superior pen. You can move the pen a bit slower to create a thicker line or vice versa for a thinner line. Still with no globs or splotches! The pen is easy to hold in multiple hand positions- very comfortable as well. I tested it on several types of paper and tape and it wrote clearly on everything! I definitely recommend this pen for quick note-taking left- or right-handed people and lengthy writing since the ink lasts and is so smooth.

Busy Mom of 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a busy homeschooling Mom of 4 and I’m really organized and intentional about the type of pen I use in my every day. I’m really particular about the way that the grip feels and the gel ink writes. I like this pen specifically because the gel dries quickly. I use it to make notes in my Bible and find that the ink doesn’t smudge or run at all. I also use it in my written planner as needed and find that it writes really smoothly. I’ve used other gel pens in the past and now gravitate toward this pen. This might seem dramatic but I just don’t have time for a mess when I’m writing with pen (I often use just pencil) and I’ve been happy with this.

Staple ProGel pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the pleasure of being a product reviewer tester for stellar product reviews and was able to test out these gel pens from staples. These pens are fabulous! They have a nice fine point easily glide across the page without big ink blots and dry quicky! I also took the red stopper off the end of every pen in the package and wrote with them to make sure that EVERY pen wore the same way. I was recently at a conference where the speakers spoke fast. Covering material quickly and then moving on. I prefer to write in pen when note taking and was happy using these pens. Smooth letters and drawings no smudging or ink on my hands and super important they didn’t stop working randomly. I have had pens before that you have to stop and shake mid sentence to get the ink to come out again… not with these. The grip is good too comfortable to use for the 4 plus hours I used it for!
It took a minute or so to realize the tip plug needed to be removed but that done they write beautifully on immediate contact. No scribbling to get flow started is necessary. I like 'em!

Smooth and Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen glides very well when writing and feels so nice and easy. The ink flow is consistent and bold and dries quickly (in my opinion but I am right handed). It does not require much pressure to write and makes my handwriting look better. The grip is comfortable to hold and take notes write cards make a list - any writing task is much smoother than a regular ballpoint pen. I have only used it for a couple weeks or so so not sure how long it will last but so far so good!

Smooth but Smearing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this Staples ProGel pen! I am a very picky pen person normally I gravitate toward Korean or Japanese branded gel pens. This pen was a very smooth writing experience. The pen tip is not super fine but also doesn't come out too bold and think. While I loved the overall experience of writing with this pen I found that the ink tended to smear on my pages. I am not sure if that was due to the quality of the paper I was using or my hands been sweaty and dragging across the page. I know this is minor but I like that this is a quality retractable pen. I am not a fan of capped pens so that could be my preference. The click and slide of the pen is great. I would buy these again.
