almost immediately the pen stopped working. I have tried shaking it and nothing seems to work. I have also made sure that nothing is inhibiting the end.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although I had many choices, I selected this one because it was the least expensive and the
color was solid black. I had just read an article about check tampering, and the author suggested writing all checks with a black gel pen. I put one in my purse, one on my desk, gave one to a friend, and put two in a drawer for future need.

I’m a fan of blue pens rather than black. I made a special trip to Staples to get more of these. They’re a bold blue color and don’t smear. They weren’t the least expensive, but in my opinion are the best in their category.
