Quick drying ink and writes smoothly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen has a very nice comfortable grip. I love the retractable feature as I’m always losing lids to pens and then they dry out. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the ink comes out thick and even. That’s not usually what I expect from a gel pen so I was happy about smooth it writes. And the ink dries super fast! No smudges across the page or on the edge of my hand as I write. I definitely recommend buying this pen.

Awesome Gel Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I heard that these pens were gel pens that did not smear I was honestly skeptical. I tried it and found out how quickly the ink dries on the paper. If you are quick you might be able to smear it a tiny bit but normally use will show no issue! As a left handed writer these are super helpful since my wrist and hand will usually smear anything I write on paper. These pens are great and eliminate my problem! Along with being comfortable in my hand and super smooth on the paper these pens are now my go-to!

Great Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen writes extremely well on all different types of paper. The gel doesn’t run and the thickness of the works extremely for my writing style. The grip was smooth and writing over a long time did not cause any cramping. Overall good pen.

Bold and beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite pen. I do a lot of writing at work. I’m old school and still prefer taking notes on paper. A few things I like about this pen: - it is very comfortable to hold even after a half day meeting. - it does not smear. My husband is left handed and often runs into a smearing problem — not here. - it write smoothly … almost too smooth. Be careful to lift the pen from paper when writing otherwise it will continue to glide (which makes writing easier but reading my notes more difficult) Overall a great sturdy reliable new office mate!

Just may become a writter

With having arthritis and most likely some sensory issues I am beyond picky in the instruments I choose to write with. Given my recent experience with this ProGel 1.0 mm pen though I Just may become a writer. The ProGel fits in my hand nicely and allows for a secure grip without feeling overly bulky. It is a nice weight and rest comfortably! The gel ink flows smoothly with no sounds of scratching on the paper or the sensation of pulling that I have felt with others. The lines are thick and legible! Due to my limited dexterity my hand is prone drag is terribly and I have ruined a few papers with smudging or ink drags. This gel ink dries fast does not bleed through and has not smudged once. I have tried this pen on my most sensitive papers (bible pages) and on the dreaded rough faced construction paper. It did not rip the fine paper and it handled the paper fibers of the construction paper like a pro!

This Pen Is Mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit it I am a pen lover! After spending the past few days with the Staples ProGel retractable pen I'm genuinely impressed. The sleek black design with its professional appearance fits perfectly in both my office and when I'm jotting notes at coffee shops. Writing with the Staples ProGel feels effortless - it is lightweight and the comfortable grip means my hand stays relaxed even during long writing sessions. What really stands out is the ink quality - it flows smoothly without any annoying clumping during a word. My favorite feature has to be the bold 1.0mm point which creates crisp dark lines that make my handwriting look so much better than usual. While I usually just grab whatever pen is handy that won't be the case anymore. Now the Staples ProGel retractable pen has earned a permanent spot in my desk drawers and backpack. If you're someone who still prefers putting pen to paper like I do this Staples ProGel is definitely worth picking up.

Smooth and comfortable

The ink is pigmented but it dries quickly and doesn’t smear. This pen is one of my favorite to use and I will continue to use it for note taking writing cards and anything else I would need to use a pen for.

Precision Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at how well this "generic" pen ranked compared to the leading pens on the market. I was expecting a ho hum standard pen but what I got was a far superior pen. I typically by fine point pens as I usually need something that has some precision to it. But I was so impressed to see this "bold" pen. I was able to write tiny and legible. Each letter was clear without bleed and precise. The ink came out beautifully. There was no initial shake or doodles to get the ink flowing nor were there moments in the life of the pen when it suddenly "dried up." The ergonomic cushion is a little more than I'm used to but I really liked it and it seemed to fit my hand well. 10/10 would buy.
