Smooth Writing But Varying Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The retractable gel pens are a great pen for everyday use. In general the color was vibrant without being overly bright. The extra-fine point allows for clean crisp writing and allows one to be very precise. As a teacher I used these pens for everyday use in my classroom from writing notes to parents to signing documents they were a wonderful addition to my ink-based rotation. They retract nicely and smoothly as well. However they were inconsistent with quality. One pen would have a thick and vibrant ink trail and another's would be dull and wispy. Also one pen leaked quite a bit within a few days of taking off the wax ball. Overall though I would definitely replace these with the same pens when they run out of ink. They write cleanly and beautifully.

Glides easily with no smudge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I thought this pen was easy to hold with a triangle ribbed grip and the gel glides easily onto the paper. The gel dried instantly with no risk of smudging which is really important to me. I thought the fine point allowed me to write small notes but they were still clearly legible. I tend to write more holding the pen up and down but when my hand would get tired and the pen was more angled the gel would appear as it was running low which is not ideal. I am really happy with the color the size of the fine point and how comfortable it was to hold. Great pen!

Great grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this pen for note-taking at work for several days. I like the grip and the color even though it's a lighter shade of blue. It feels a bit scratchy when writing and not as smooth as other pens. It doesn't smear or lead to messy handwriting so overall I like using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are super easy to use and write very smoothly. The color is bold and dries quick to prevent smudging. The grip is comfy and easy to hold for long writing sessions. Definitely a great product to have to stock up the home office.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens Extra Fine Point 0.5mm Blue Ink. These pens look nice but I wasn’t really thrilled with how they write. They didn’t glide as easily along the page as I would hope. The pens are okay but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy more when they run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive the Staples ProGel Pen as I am an avid pen user. I love buying and trying a variety of pens. The staples pen was a bit disappointing due to the amount of ink released from the pen. I was able to get enough ink on the paper to show my words however I wish the ink was more bold. However the pen itself felt great while holding and didn’t cause any issues in that aspect. If Staples can get more ink and a smoother print this pen would be perfect for everyone.

Good pack of pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I had a mixed experience with these pens. I love the large pack I am always losing pens so it is nice to have lots on hand. The pens are comfortable to hold. I really liked the extra fine point it was great for sketching. However for some reason when it came to regular writing I did encounter some issues. On occasion the ink didn’t flow as smoothly as expected. What I liked most about these pens was the precision they offered when sketching. For fine details they were great but I did wish for a more consistent ink flow for everyday writing tasks.

Pretty good pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are pretty good one you get the ink started they work pretty good they just skip a little every once in a while. The ink boldness is good especially for a fine point tip. I used them just for every day work and schoolwork. The color is also pretty bold for a blue pen.
