New favorite gen pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my new go-to pens! I love when the ink of a pen flows evenly and and boldly on the page. The ink in these pens are so consistent and create beautiful bold lines that can be easily read. They are also really well made and sturdy and the ergonomic grip is a nice touch! I’ve got them spread out around the house for work kitchen lists and journaling. I love a gel pen for everyday use and I hope they make them in more colors!

Finally no smeering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this gel pen! The ink flows smoothly making it perfect for everything from journaling to signing documents. The bold tip works especially well with my large bubbly handwriting — it stays smooth and legible with no blobs or skipped lines. I'm right-handed but still struggle with ink smearing. This pen dries literally the moment it touches the paper! I work in the medical field and became super picky about my pens after writing chart after chart of patient notes. This one does not disappoint — it’s comfortable to use and holds up to long assignments. If you're someone who likes a pen that writes boldly and clearly then the Staples Pro Gel Bold point is a winner!

Almost perfect pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the Staples Pro Gel Pens with a Bold Point 1.0 to see how they compared to other pens I currently use. I’m in education so I take a lot of notes and do a lot of writing. It is important that I have a reliable pen that is easy to hold glides easily and has a consistent flow of ink. First I love that it is retractable so I don’t have to worry about a cap. The grip is comfortable and has a bit of a cushion for your finger. The bold point is nice and not too thick. The only problem I ran into was the consistency of ink flow. If you look at the picture I took you can see where the ink stops mid-letter on the “S” then on the bottom of the “p” you can see where too much ink came out and the line is thicker. You can also see areas where the ink flow was not solid and a little bumpy. For me these are good pens and fine for personal use. If the ink flow were to be improved I could see myself making the switch from what I use not to this.

Smooth and Bold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great pens for everyday use! They are easy to write with and comfortable to grip. The ink is bold and dark and I love the thick tip. It’s ideal for coloring in small areas or writing clearly. My children (ages 3 and 6) also really enjoyed using these pens and found them comfortable and satisfying for their art projects. I would definitely recommend these.

My expectations were blown out of the water! The pen writes VERY smoothly and I love the pins boldness. I have been using one pen for a few weeks now and have not had any issues with the ink skipping or running out. Very nice quality and I highly recommend! I even have my husband now using one since he borrowed mine one day and attempted to steal it because he liked it so much!

Bold is better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the bold black pens and overall enjoy using them. I write a lot of messages for work so a good pen is essential. The bold pen has a nice grip to it - and writes with a nice thickness to the ink. My issue with the ink is it doesn't dry as fast as I'd like and I've smeared appointment cards and reminders when I'm working quickly. The ink flows a lot better than the fine point pens offered from Staples. I would definitely buy another pack of these.
