[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples brand gel pens have become my new favorite. They write very smoothly and the grip makes it very comfortable to hold for extended periods. It's a great simple design and I love the look of my writing with the bold tip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay this was a really awesome bold gel pen! Here’s what I loved. The look of the pen itself is nice and sleek. The 1.0mm boldness was perfect for my heavy-handed writing style and the ink dries quickly (a must for me!). It felt good in my hand and had a nice click to it. The only thing that had me dock a star is that it wasn’t as smooth of a glide as I want/need from a gel pen. I primarily use it in a journal I keep at work and felt that the “glideability” was a 4/5.

The perfect lefty pen exists

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a teacher so I’m using pens pretty much all day—grading planning notes—and the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens have quickly become my absolute favorite. I first used one at a work conference and every time someone borrowed it they asked where they could get one. That kind of reaction says a lot! The bold line is smooth sharp and just looks great on the page. What really impressed me is how consistent the ink is—no skipping at all—which is huge for me since I’m left-handed. These pens made it through grading multiple final projects without any issues. Plus the ink dries fast so no annoying smudges on my hand while I’m writing. They’re super comfortable too—the ergonomic grip feels just right so even when I’m writing for a long time my hand doesn’t get tired or cramp up. Honestly these pens have totally replaced all my old favorites. If you’re picky about your pens or just need something reliable for heavy use give these a try—you won’t regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is a pen. It’s just a pen so don’t get too excited. But it’s a really decent pen. It gets the job done. No drying no having to scribble for awhile to coax the ink flowing. Just a reliable decent pen. It’s the pen you want back when you loan it but not overpriced that you cry when it gets lost. 10/10 pen. Would make this my normal go to.

Comfortable and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are a game changer! They are so comfortable to write with for extended periods of time. The ink and ballpoint are super smooth and I have not had any jumps or problems with writing. I love the bold 1.0mm point as I feel it glides better than smaller point pens. I prefer to have a clicker vs a cap pen as I know it is closed when I click it instead of occasionally marking the inside of my purse or bag. The ink is consistent and does not thin as I write or even when it gets close to the bottom of the barrel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using these pens! The ergonomic grip is great. It doesn't hurt my fingers to write with these pens like with some other pens and pencils. The bold font is nice and I like how smooth these pens write. I use these pens most on my undated calendars and monthly budget sheets to help keep track of bills and taking notes in a meeting. If I need to write in a smaller or slimmer font though I don't use these pens because then my handwriting isn't always legible. Overall I really like these pens based on how they feel in my hands and how they write. I hope they come out in a rainbow of colors because they would be perfect for my planner!

Bold and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens glides smoothly and leaves a bold mark. The pen felt extremely comfortable to use and I had no issue with it writing as I took notes for a class. I love to conserve paper usage and I love that the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens do not bleed through and the writing does not show on the other side. The only con that I had with the pen is that it can smudge a bit due to the pen residue not drying as quick but other than that this pen is absolutely amazing. Another benefit from the staples brand is that it comes in a 5 pack when others tend to often offer only 3 packs. I used a pen all week to take notes and took approximately 13 pages worth of notes and still had a bunch of ink left over. Overall I give the Staples ProGel Retractable Gel Pens a 9/10 and would definitely use again!
