Great deep taste

I tried this for the first time at Christmas and at first wasn't sure I liked it but then I tried it again and I love it. It has a very rich deep taste that's wonderful!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been buying the Lake & Lodge dark roast for years and absolutely loved it - my favorite everyday go to coffee. I purchased the new "medium roast" with my last order and I cant describe how disappointed I was. It isn't even close to the older one, even on the strong coffee setting. I will be looking for another brand/dark roast option for future orders.

Lost my Lake and Lodge

I too noticed a change to my L&L. Have ordered it for years and did not realize till browsing today that it is 'new' - I saw the note that all that changed was the packaging but I disagree - something is different. I removed from my auto order.

Just not the same

I agree with the others...they say it is the same but I noticed a difference right away. It was on my auto ship and I had gotten 2 boxes so not much I could do about it. Tried using the strong brew button but it just felt like something was missing. Will be looking for something to take it's place

Hate the change!

Have loved this coffee for years, when it was dark roast. I don't know why or how you changed this to medium roast but the flavor just isn't there anymore for us. Please give us the option of buying the dark roast again.

We have been drinking Lake and Lodge dark roast coffee for years. Now all we can get is medium roast. We don't like the change and want the dark roast back!

Thanks for your question! Green Mountain Coffee Roasters have updated the roast profile on Lake & Lodge from Dark Roast to Medium Roast. The formulation has not changed. After tasting all of the Green Mountain coffees, the roasters decided that the smooth taste of Lake & Lodge better fits consumer expectations for a medium roast. They decided to adjust the roast on the packaging to better align the product description with what consumers experience when tasting the coffee. We hope this is helpful!

This was my every day coffee and had been drinking it for years. Why did you change it from Dark Roast to Medium?
This once delicious coffee is now weak and missing the great flavor!
Definitely not an improvement and certainly not buying it again .
