I bought the sample pack of dark roast coffees, because the lighter ones just don't cut it anymore for me. Since I bought my Keurig, I am getting more and more into dark roast coffees. This one did NOT disappointment me at all!! I thought for sure after the first sip, I would need more creamer, NOPE, I needed less. Now I am excited to get the 24 box of these. I would recommend this coffee to anyone that likes a dark roast, but not heavy coffee.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Aroma, Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste, Not Bitter

L&L is a cup of comfort. I enjoy the smooth, easy drink of this cup. Almost every time I drink it, I pick up my cup, go to take a sip, and it's empty. What? Who's been drinking my coffee. So smooth and easy it's gone before I know it. My fav.

This best coffee I have ever had from a K-cup, including my own. I do recommend this to anyone transitioning from a percolator/drip machine to a Keurig. This coffee reminds you of the great outdoors, the feeling of opening up the thermos on a cold day and enjoying a cup of joe.

Aroma Got Me Right Away

I was a nurse and worked nights for many years. It was during that time that I really started drinking coffee. I usually brought my bottle of instant coffee as the big pots had no appeal to me. A few years ago my son and dtr-in-law bought us a Keurig and told me to get rid of the bottle, of coffee that is. We tried quite a few different flavors and as I was going through the blends a few months age I saw Lake and Lodge. It reminded me of vacations and camping so I tried it. The aroma caught me right away. Now my husband, who was drinking Dark Magic is now drinking up my stash. Needless to say it has become the brew of this family. I really haven't found any cons and neither has he. He doesn't say much so I think he really likes it (otherwise I would have heard about it)Grandma Lee!

I bought this with my first Keurig brewer over 6 years ago . . . (we're on our upgraded second Keurig brewer) and have been drinking Lake & Lodge ever since. I grew up on Lake Champlain with the Adirondack Mts as my "back yard" . . .I have retired and live in Coastal Georgia now but every morning I'm back in the Adak's on Lake Champlain with my cup of Lake & Lodge . . .I truly enjoy the rich robust flavor.

Truly Awesome - Wake-Up Mornings & Busy Day Blend

This is my "Go To"- Gotta Have" First in the Morning and anytime all day blend. Especially now that They don't have my Best of the Best "Community® Coffee Dark Roast Signature Blend".
Lake and Lodge is strong but not bitter, no aftertaste, So smooth you want another as soon as you start to see the bottom of the cup. It really is that good.
My next "Go To" blend is a near perfect "Top of the Mark" blend -- Gevalia Kaffe®
Dark Royal Roast Coffee. SOOOO SMOOTH! perfect taste and flavor. I'm drinking it as I type.
