I appreciate the rich, full-bodied flavor of Lake & Lodge. It has a balanced, lightly smoky flavor that compliments the other notes in the coffee. It doesn't have a bitter aftertaste and I can adjust the richness of flavor on my coffee maker by allowing the hot water to diffuse through the grounds more slowly.

This blend is smooth, but doesn't skim on full-body-flavor. It used to be labeled DARK, but recently was changed to MEDIUM roast. It's probably at the half way mark. It has no bitterness or bite, but doesn't leave me desperate for that coffee flavor.

Have been looking for a RICH and SMOOTH without bitter after taste from my 1st cup to my 5th. Lake & Lodge. My guest always comment .. What brand is this? It tastes good.
Can not find in stores over the last few months, so buy online.
