oh, my. this is coffee!

By far the most wonderful smelling coffee ever as it is brewing. I almost hate to take the first sip because I love just inhaling the aroma, but then drinking the coffee itself is like heaven. Bold but not at all bitter, has some body to it too. The only better thing would be to be able to actually enjoy it by the fireplace in the lodge by the lake.... I've tried and loved many Green Mountain coffees, but this one is now my absolute favorite -

This has been a favorite of mine since the very first time I drank it from a Green Mountain Coffee station inside a convenience/gas station near my brother's house in South Burlington. If I thought getting a hold of it other than it K-cups has proved to be a challenge, finding the K-cups in grocery stores hasn't happened... have to get directly from the source! But I don't care. I kinda love that I have to work for it. LOL

I've been drinking Lake and Lodge for years also. The coffee is different now I'm trying to find something I like! You had to of changed this coffee cuz it's not as enjoyable as it was, I changed it to an 8 oz cup to see if that was better. That didn't help please put it back to where it was! Cuz at this point might as well just drink Maxwell House!

Used to be great coffee, what changed?

I have enjoyed Lake and Lodge dark roast coffee for years. However my recent purchase of your medium blend version was very disappointing. ThIs coffee is weak with a bitter after taste. I have read your explanation to another reviewer that only the product labeling has changed but I can’t accept that statement. This product has changed and not for the better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought GMC Lake and Lodge when I first purchased my Keurig Coffee Maker. I liked the name and thought why not give it a try. It instantly became my favorite coffee. For the most part I am a Starbucks fan, but this coffee has an interesting taste, and great aroma. I brew it to an 8oz cup size and it eliminates the acidity from over brewing the grounds. I recommend this blend to anyone who enjoys a full bodied coffee with a smooth taste.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Smooth Taste

I love this coffee. Very smooth flavor, but I think it's more for black coffee drinkers who appreciate a high-end coffee, which may account for some of the poor reviews. I also love all of the donut coffees and this is a little stronger, but comparable in smoothness! Will definitely buy more of this!
