Disappointing

Have been a Lake & Lodge dark roast drinker for years - my go to morning coffee. Last order I did not see the change to medium roast until I opened the box. Tried it and it just doesn't measure up. Looking for morning coffee replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. The formulation for this variety has not changed, it is still the same roast & taste you have always loved. After tasting all of the Green Mountain® Coffee Roasters coffees, the roasters decided that the smooth taste of Lake & Lodge® better fits consumer expectations for a medium roast.
They decided to adjust the roast on the packaging to better align the product description with what consumers experience when tasting the coffee. We hope this helps!

Usually enjoy Green Mountain java but the Lake and Lodge dark roast doesn't have the bite.

Fairly mild for my taste even though it is listed as Dark. Will probably not purchase it again. My tastes run along the line of Extra Dark. Even the Sumatra as dark is better.
