Disappointing

Have been a Lake & Lodge dark roast drinker for years - my go to morning coffee. Last order I did not see the change to medium roast until I opened the box. Tried it and it just doesn't measure up. Looking for morning coffee replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. The formulation for this variety has not changed, it is still the same roast & taste you have always loved. After tasting all of the Green Mountain® Coffee Roasters coffees, the roasters decided that the smooth taste of Lake & Lodge® better fits consumer expectations for a medium roast.
They decided to adjust the roast on the packaging to better align the product description with what consumers experience when tasting the coffee. We hope this helps!

cmon Keurig! Why cant we have nice things?! After years of purchasing this, you change the roast. They said in an earlier review they havent changed the roast, but its absolutely not the same. Not at all. It is weak, lacks any body, and is a huge disappointment. Why did you do this to us!

This is by far my favorite K-cup ever! I drink it black, on the large setting. It's a very complex coffee with great aroma and flavor. My very first cup every morning - I actually look forward to waking up an brewing a cup! Bottom line: my go-to K-cup for a consistently excellent cup of coffee.

Dark enough to provide some body, but smooth enough so there is no bitterness or unpleasant aftertaste. I tried a sample pack of this to see how I'd like it, and am now back ordering more. It has become my favorite "must have every day" coffee. Think "Waffle House" restaurant coffee... a traditional blend with pleasant aroma, exceptional taste, with a "refill please" appeal.

I have tried most of their dark roast coffees and so far this remains my most favorite! The flavor is wonderfully rich, not too heavy, and perfect for someone who really enjoys that first cup in the morning! Right now I have 8 boxes with other flavors that are sitting here, with only a few K-Cups taken out of each, but I continue to reach into this box almost every time instead! I love it and think that you will too! Give it a try!
