Was perfect, so then was changed to a Light Roast.

Will not buy again. Aroma, texture, mouthfeel, flavor, were all superior. Then it was made a medium roast. I'm done, and have switched to another maker, sadly. There is no other brew that taste(d)s similar.

Used to be a dark roast coffee

We have been drinking Lake and Lodge dark roast coffee for years. Now all we can get is medium roast. We don't like the change and want the dark roast back!

Thanks for your question! Green Mountain Coffee Roasters have updated the roast profile on Lake & Lodge from Dark Roast to Medium Roast. The formulation has not changed. After tasting all of the Green Mountain coffees, the roasters decided that the smooth taste of Lake & Lodge better fits consumer expectations for a medium roast. They decided to adjust the roast on the packaging to better align the product description with what consumers experience when tasting the coffee. We hope this is helpful!

After my favorite Dark Roast was discontinued, I bounced around through quite a few varieties. Lake & Lodge hit the right notes and is now my go to coffee. I cannot say enough about the flavor and satisfaction it provides.

Have loved this coffee for years, when it was dark roast. I don't know why or how you changed this to medium roast but the flavor just isn't there anymore for us. Please give us the option of buying the dark roast again.
