Good bolder flavor. I like the Caribou Blend but the Mahoganey is nicer with an added boost.

Good start to the day

Provides a smooth and bold start to my day. Has been a repeat purchase many times along with usually another product to try. But I have yet to find a go to like this one.
At one time, this was my favorite K-cup. I would wait for the Keurig deal to come up and then I would stock up. However, on my most recent purchase in January 2015, I recieved what I would call a "bad batch". First a little bit about myself. I work in the food industry, so I feel I am certifiable when determining a "good" or "bad" cup of coffee. Secondly, with the rising cost of K-cups/unit, I am also thrifty and feel my single K-cup should brew me a FINE cup of coffee on the highest setting (biggest cup) on my Keurig B70. I therefore tend to choose the more bold/robust blends. Mahogany use to be the best! However, after January's purchase, upon which I bought over 12 different boxes, 2 of which were Mahogany, I now find that every K-cup has been used except for the Mahogany. I still have a little more than a box left. I live in a household of 5 and 4/5 are daily coffe drinkers. We have all agreed that Mahogany has "gone downhill". Even on the 2nd highest setting, which I believe is 10 oz. The coffee still tastes watery and lacks that bold punch of balanced flavor that we were all so accustomed to getting. Now to be fair, I have observed this characteristic with many different branded k-cups recently. Perhaps it is a BIG CONSPIRACY to make us buy more K-cups or perhaps I will be told to run more vinegar through my B70 to clean out the lines or that perhaps my palate has changed. One thing I do know, Starbucks is still consistent and although their products are a little more expensive, I have never been disappointed. Maybe everyone wants to "price" as a Starbucks and now what we are seeing is an evolution towards mediocrity.
Pros: Balanced Acidity
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
