This is one of the best blends I've found for the Keurig. The major problem I have with most of the coffees is the weak, dull flavor. Mahogany is deep and smooth. My only complaint is that it has a slightly unpleasant second note/ aftertaste, but that doesn't stop me from drinking it regularly.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Aftertaste
Only coffee you need-early morning first cup or for guest after dinner. Black in a the cup, great aroma, not bitter, if you take cream and sweetener, you don't mind taking this one black, it's that pleasant. I have nothing that I don't like.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Not Bitter, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Aroma
My boyfriend and I use half & half or flavored creamer, so we need a bold coffee to come through with these additions and we think this coffee is bold, smooth, and has a nice soft mouth feel with low acidity and less smoke than a French or Italian roast. We've tried many bold K-cups and the organic Sumatran Reserve is our all time favorite with this being our second favorite.
I was so glad to find this wonderfully delicious variety. I find a lot of Keurig coffee to be weak and without much flavor. Caribou's Mahogany has a rich and complex taste. I always use the 8oz brew size (for all varieties) and this makes a great tasting, decently strong cup of coffee. Such a fan of Caribou...well done!
