I expected this coffee to make my dreams come true, with a name like Mahogany; but it's lacking in the flavor department and is a bit too light for my tastes. I might recommend this to anyone who prefers a light or medium roast (just watch out for the unusual aftertaste).
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste, Not Bitter
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Not Enough Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You'll notice a wonderful aroma, and a smooth taste. No harsh bitterness at all.
This coffee is awesome. I was given a couple of K cups to try and by the second, was hooked. It is so ... different. Smooth, almost smoky (but that's actually a good thing here, believe me!) not acidic, no bad aftertaste. MMMMMMMM! I bought a box looking forward to many "Mahogany Mornings." However, my husband tried some and decided that he, too, really dug this coffee. I'm getting extra this time.
I love the Caribou Blend normal roast and thought I'd give Mahogany a try. I only wish I'd bought a full (24) box instead because this is a wonderful, dark bodied roast. It has a smooth, low acidity that makes it great as a black cup or with half & half. I make Mahogany as my midday or midnight cup of coffee while studying, and it keeps me going! About the only thing that I find to be a problem is that it doesn't have as strong of an aroma like some of the other brands, or even the normal Caribou blend, but it totally makes up for it in terms of full-flavored taste and balanced mouth feel.
