Outstanding Dark Roast

Fantastic Dark roast coffee. Easily the best falvor. Does not come off overly bitter. Has the perfect smokey hints to compliment the full flavor of the dark roast.

My new favorite coffee

I like bold, dark coffee, but usually end up with something bitter or burnt tasting. I had just about given up my search until I tried Caribou Mahogany. Dark, tasty, smooth, and no bitter after taste. I have to force myself not to drink too much! You will not be disappointed.

Not great (but not horrible)

I like bold and dark coffee so I had high hopes for this one. While it is a strong coffee (if not brewed with too much water), it is not overpowering; however, the taste leaves something to be desired. It is, as the description says, very "woodsy" and "leathery," while the chocolate and molasses flavors are not discernible. The coffee was not so bad that I couldn't finish a cup, and I have since then finished the 24 pack box. But I just tried to "get through" this box so that I could move on to a dark roast, bold flavor I do enjoy, such as Coffee People's Jet Fuel.
Cons: Unpleasant Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I enjoy dark roast coffee with full flavor and this coffee did not dissapoint. one of my favorite go to coffees is Barista Prima Italian Roast and this coffee stands to that level of excellence. It smelled fantastic while breweing and was rich and satisfying with no bitterness at all. I prefer creamer with my coffee but this is one that is equally enjoyable when left black.

Smooth Sippin'

After trying thirty-plus blends, I found Mahogany and stopped looking. This cup is dark. smooth, slippery silk that wraps itself around every taste bud giving it the warm, sensual hug of a favorite silk robe. Not an inkling of bitterness or bad aftertaste!

Balanced & Bold

Pleasantly exceptional, a holy grail kcup. This coffee has a great body to it -- its got a great bold woodsy taste that is also balanced. This is a definite must-try for 'dark roast extra bold' flavor fanatics. If you liked the Barista Prima Italian roast or the Green Mountain Sumatran Reserve, this is definitely for you. It has all the essentials that make it a great enjoyable coffee. I can enjoy this as a morning or evening coffee, with a meal, dessert, or just on its own.

Perfect cup

Great taste. Bold, not bitter. Well balanced. Has a toasted marshmallow aftertaste, and that's a good thing.
