Does not live up to the explanation

The only way I could enjoy this k-cup would be to brew two k-cups on the smallest setting for one cup of coffee. I thought this was very uneconomical and a waste of coffee.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Unpleasant Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The taste of tar balls in your mouth

Starts out with a strong overtones of asphalt interlaced with charcoal briquets, and finishes with the BP oil spill across your palette. On a serious note, I have a houseful of coffee lovers who love rich, stronger coffees, but this one was not a hit with anyone.
Pros: Will Clean Paint Brushes
Cons: Assaults The Tongue
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too Light For Me

I was somewhat disappointed. With a name like "Mahogany" I expected a far more dramatic coffee, but the flavor was a bit "thin" for me, leaving me wondering; have I had my coffee yet?
Pros: Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

From all the reviews I read, I thought this would be my favorite coffee (K-cups). It is really not a dark roast to me, even brewed on the smallest cup size. I imagine it would be fine for someone who occasionally likes a cup of coffee, but not for those of us who want a decent cup of coffee. Much too weak in flavor. I'd rather drink tea.
Pros: Not Bitter
Cons: Roasted Too Light, Bland, Not Enough Flavor, WEAK
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No longer the Best!

This pod use to be one of my favorites. However over the years I have noticed a steady decline in the quality of Mahagony with a steady incline of the price per pod...very uncool. What use to be a perfectly oiled, rich, smooth cup of coffee has become a dry, burnt, acidic brew that surprisingly feels very watery on the palate. My recommendation...pass on this one!
Pros: Convenience Of Pod
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Not Enough Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unappealing Or Flat Aroma
I was very dissapointed with this one. It did not taste like a bold coffee should. More like a Maxwell House coffee. Not strong enough almost water down taste.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
