My Go-To Coffee

Sometimes it's hard to find a dark, strong coffee that doesn't end up bitter and too acidic. This isn't one of those coffees. I like strong coffee and dark roasts and this is the perfect coffee for me. It's my favorite of all I've tried so far. It's an easy drink, incredibly smooth and with just enough flavor. It's my go-to coffee!
Pros: Not Bitter, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste

My VERY Favorite

This is my personal favorite, after trying many. This is strong, but not bitter - and is a VERY smooth cup of coffee. My husband prefers a medium, I prefer stronger, but this one is absolutely perfect for both of us.

this coffee is very smooth but just strong enough for those who like dark coffee..get this you won't be disappointed! :)

My favorite coffee

This is hands-down my favorite coffee. It has a nice full flavor that stays nice and smooth. Other dark roasts I have had tend to get a bitter taste to them but Mahogany does not. I have brewed this from ground beans for years and even when I make a super strong batch of coffee I know that it will not get bitter - just stronger.

Not very full flavored

I like trying new things, but this one I could have given a miss - it was alright, but nothing special - I like big dark coffees with full flavor - this isn't it.
Pros: Not Bitter
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Not Enough Flavor

Distinct flavor

I wasn't sure about this one at first. I needed a second sampler to finally confirm it was a brew I could drink over the long term. There is a slight aftertaste, but it is worse on other coffees, even on coffees I like, so I wouldn't even demote it a star for that. If you really only like lighter coffees, this is not one for you. This is a true lower medium to dark range coffee. It is flavorful, yet has a balance and definitely not bitter. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. Its not perfect, but dang close.

I can smell this brewing on the other side of my house. It tastes great and I feel great before I even finish my first cup. I will say this coffee is not for the weak!
