Years ago I always bought the bag of whole beans and ground them at the store. Now that I have my Keurig, I tired a box of Eight O'clock K-cups. My favorite coffee so far of all the Keurig brands I've tried. I brew on the regular cup setting. No bitter after taste. Nice aroma. If you prefer a stronger roast, this may not be your coffee.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Smooth Taste, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma
I am so disappointed by this product. It has no "coffee" or "roasted" flavor at all, even at the smallest cup setting. Just the weird sour aftertaste you get from hotel room coffee. It's inconceivable that this can be categorized as a medium roast coffee next to a product like Starbucks Pike Place Roast (which actually tastes good, like coffee!) If you drink it black like I do, avoid this one.
Pros: Caffeine
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Unpleasant Flavor, Not Enough Flavor, Unappealing Or Flat Aroma
With so many great reviews, I was excited about trying this coffee, but it's pretty disappointing. It's watery and has a strange aftertaste...I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or if this just isn't flavorful coffee.
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Not Enough Flavor
I have tried many different brands and types of K-Cups, but the Eight O"Clock 100 Columbian Roast Coffee is my new favorite cup of Joe! I love the aroma and overall taste. The only problem is keeping it in stock, and finding this particular brand in the store.
We have tried a lot of coffee in the office and at home and this is the only one we drink, my biggest problem is it is hard to find everyone is out of stock...that right there should tell you something.
