Paint quality kills a good idea

I like that this pen is all metal, except for the clicker cap. However, I put it in my pocket in the parking lot of the store I bought it, I was so excited about the pen. But after driving home and pulling it out, it is missing substantial amounts of the pen. If I had known this would happen, I would purchased another of my usual pens, the F701. I feel kind of cheated, to be honest. This isn't a matte coating; just a bad, cheap paint job on a lighter, more expensive version of a lesser pen.

Not as Advertised

It's a good pressured ball point pen, it's just that it was advertised as steel and the barrel to tip is Nylon plastic. A little disappointing. Shipping was quick.

Great but has flaws.

I teally want to like this pen.it skips when writing as in the ink gets light then goes back to normal.wish i couls use a dif refill than the garbage ones it comes with.the black around the tip is coming off a little.bedides that i love the look bit it has flaws.if they can fix the ink problem in give a better score.

I like how it feels and writes. I keep it in the car where it is hot and cold, possibly wet. I keep it with a rite in the rain notebook.

GREAT PEN But One issue so far

This pen writes great. Used for about a week now and love it. Only issue I have come across, is that it fell off my desk when retracted. Now it seems like it either lost pressure or the tip has damage cause while retracted. It doesn't always write any more. Switching to one of the included refills corrected the issue, but I am surprised it sustained damage from such a short drop seeing as it is advertised as military grade drop protection.

Disappointing construction

This started out as a great pen. However, after a week, the barrel surrounding the tip fell off in a pocket and disappeared, making it unusable.

Disappointed. I break plastic pens at work (factory job, sometimes physical). Riding in my front pocket they usually do not last a week. I found a F-701 at a local drug store for a decent price and love it, there is not question about its durability. So when I saw the flash sale I made an impulse buy, thought I was upgrading, should have read the reviews. The tip might be metal, I thought it was plastic but some of the paint has started to chip reveling shinny metal underneath. The grip is plastic not metal and screws into the top portion just like a cheap plastic pen. The upper portion is a very thin metal (chipping, shinny underneath) with a plastic liner. The clip is metal (chipping, shinny) but the rest is plastic. It does not inspire confidence. Has not broken, yet...
