I replaced an older Brother laser with this unit. Was glad to see that all my existing software worked with this unit. Brother even provided an upgraded version of Paper Port . Same as older one, but, supported the newer hardware. Set up was extremely easy, and took less then 30 minutes, including the network stuff. This is my 3rd Brother Laser. They are dependable, reasonable priced, and work

Great Sturdy Printer

The printer works great, and it is faster than my older MFC-7370. Here are a few things I don't like. The toner cartridges have an embedded chip to monitor toner usage. This supports the automatic refresh program. However, aftermarket toner cartridges are now more expensive because of it. I also miss the old Brother utilities app. Scanning is a bit more difficult now, but I am getting used to it. I like that all pages of a scan are visible before you save the file on your computer or cloud account. Overall, it is a solid printer. Much better than other printers I have used.

This is a phenomenal device! It does everything you could possibly want from a printer, does it very well, and does it in a small footprint. When we chose to obtain a second printer we already knew where to look, as we have had a larger Brother All-in-One for well over 10 years, with nary a problem. That this device is also wireless provides a huge benefit. Very highly recommended!!!
