Brother Refresh program used on MFC-L2820DW printe

This is a fine machine. My only complaint has to do with the Brother refresh program. Evidently, the program only works if the printer is hooked up to the computer wirelessly. I use a cord and wasn't able to sign up.

Very efficient printer. Easy to set up and connect. However, one shortcoming is the fact that it does not have a USB port to use a a print port or as a scan to to port.

scan option not user friendly

The machine was quite noisy especially when dialing a fax message. Once you send the fax there was no notification that the fax had been successfully sent or failed. I had trouble printing labels successfully as the print was skewed and unusable. I found it unusually cumbersome to print envelopes as you must open the rear door and make some adjustments. The display blacked out and only appeared as you were attempting a print, fax or scan job.
