Whirlpool SNAFU

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to remove the doors to get the refrigerator into the house. The screw holes for the door hinges were stripped and we had to get a tap to fix the threads. The refrigerator is difficult to level. There is no adjustment for two of the feet. The bottom drawer frame is molded plastic and is warped. The glass shelf does not rest evenly on the support and will break if any weight is put on the shelf. The freezer doesn't get cold enough even on the max. setting. The first one we picked up had two big dents in the sheet metal so we had to take that one back and then had to take a floor model which cost me a whole day of my time farting around at Menard's with returning the original and finding a supposedly new one that didn't exist.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Consistent proformance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit for two weeks now and it is great. It consistently cools at one setting. My last refrigerator I had t adjust it with the weather. Freezes great not to hard as I turned it down. I would buy another if I needed it.

Only one disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the store several weeks before I knew I was going to have to replace my refrigerator. It quit working. When I was in that store that day I was looking at the refrigerators they had on display. I saw the one I ended up purchasing a few weeks later. At that time my thoughts were "If I ever have to buy another refrigerator this is the one I'd choose. The day I needed it, one of my sons went with me to the store. They had them in stock. They loaded it into my son's truck & we brought it home. I live in the town where I purchased it & we were only 10 minutes away. My son had the equipment to unload it. He took my old one out. Brought the new one in. It fit perfectly in that spot. I've had it for a few weeks now & it's perfect & the price was great!!

Scratch and dents works OK.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far works as expected. However, noticed a number of dents and scratches on the surface that do not appear to be a concern to overall operation. However, this unit should have been sold, by Menards, as a discounted scratch and dent.
