We got the fridge from our local community action program!Thank you Whirlpool,(we could never afford a new one.)It's great,ligting is awsome and door shelves are perfect. But the freezer door shelves have a gap on the bottoms that everything falls through. NP I love it!!!

Unfortunately, our 50s kitchen limits our options, as the space for the refrigerator is small. I appreciate the Energy Star rating, but I am at a loss to understand how it can be energy saving, when it runs so much. It is actually quite a bit louder than the old, failing refrigerator it replaces.

Noisy compressor

Unit does what it is intended to do and fits well in the small space allotted in my kitchen and is well designed. However, the compressor has a somewhat high pitched whine that is particularly annoying every time the unit cycles (which is often). Can be heard throughout the entire 1200 sq. ft. first floor of my home. As a matter of fact, this unit is significantly louder than the 25 year old Whirlpool unit it replaced. Regret this purchase and do not recommend.

Attractive but Hard for an older person to use

I've used this refrigator for a month now it works fine. But I'm not happy with it because now that I'm older I find it hard to always bend down to locate and get something out of the refrigator. I was used to the side by side one I had before. I should have stay with that model.

Low cost great performance

I bought this to replace an old refrigerator. This is a great refrigerator at a low cost. If you need a basic refrigerator this is a great choice for a small space (it's only 30" wide. Pretty roomy for the size, works well and I think I made a great choice.
