Poor quality

Purchased April 2022, now the unit will not cool. The freezer does not go below 40 degrees and the fridge is at 60. Whirlpool will not do any thing about this since it 3 months past warranty. There quality in components is very poor. Replaced the thermostat, starter relay and the bimetal switch. Will not purchase a whirlpool product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator about a month or so ago and had to have a replacement soon after I received it.. Water kept dripping down the back wall. However the replacement is doing the same thing. I found a puddle of water on the top shelf of fridge. Need to have a service man come and inspect it. This is not what I expect from a brand new fridge. Its obvious its cheaply made. Would not recommend this Whirlpool refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 21 year old Maytag refrigerator that was excellent. It was built with quality materials. Unfortunately I needed to replace it,and chose a Whirlpool. The new Whirlpool is built with flimsy plastic parts inside. The deli drawer slides out too easily and too far so that it fell off the track. The freezer door storage racks in the inside have such wide gaps that frozen foods that are stored there slip through and onto the floor. My old refrigerator had shelves that slid out for easy access. This new refrigerator does not.

Issues with Temperature Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchase this refrigerator two weeks ago and have issues with the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer. If we maintain the temperature in the freezer at 0 degrees, the food in the refrigerator is frozen. if we increase the temperature in the refrigerator, the freezer is too warm. This is totally unacceptable. We have a technician coming next week to look at the problem

Improve the quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago and am a little disappointed in the quality of the product. The temperature dial is not very well placed, after 2 days some of my produce froze on bottom shelf of ref. and could not find air control. The plastic used will never last. The shelf on freezer door is a poor design, the bags can easily fall thru the bottom. Both doors have to be pushed shut. My old GE lasted 22 years, I will be lucky to get 5 with this one. I taught Home and Careers for many years and have worked with a lot of ref, I guess I expected better quality for what I paid

Great refrigerator, but way too loud
