Bad Freezer Seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our small kitchen could not accommodate a huge refrigerator. This was the best we saw of the medium sized ones. From the day of delivery, the freezer seal was not gripping well in the top front of the door. We had icicles, thawing icicles, refreezing ice and could not figure out why. Tried all the solutions recommended in the manual and the "helpline." Whirlpool agreed to have their local contractor come look at it under warranty. Contractor was very good & the serviceman fixed the bad seal by remolding the strip with a heat gun. It's now been a month and it is still a good seal. Clearly a manufacturing issue that was not done correctly. Personally, I don't like the new configuration with deep shelves/pockets in the door and shelves in the body of the fridge that cannot be deep enough to come out to the door. There's more bending over to find things. But they are in most all of the refrigerators now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was actually my replacement! They upgraded my friedge since the one I had was on back order, I really appreciated that. The delivery was very standard, it arrived in about 10 days. This unit is a major upgrade from my last whirlpool refrigerator. The compartments are much bigger/wider— more space to store condiments in the door. The freezer has a nice size shelf, lots of room. Doesn’t come with an ice maker, but lots of space to place an icebox on top or bottom shelf. I love the light features in the fridge and the freezer, very convenient! Thanks Whirlpool!

33-inch Wide Top Freezer Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am verry happy with my new Whirlpool 21.3 cubic feet refrigerator. The compressor consuption is arround 70W, vs. 100W with the old Whirlpool 20.3 cubic feet refrigerator. In the de-frosting mode the power consumption is 170w vs. 335w in the old model. Great!

Decent size. First day issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge has good space. It’s pretty deep. However since day one it’s had a lot of precipitation in the fridge portion. This has lead to excessive puddles almost daily. Additionally the freezer does not produce ice. Instead it has just poured water into the ice bin. Not an ideal start to a brand new appliance.
