Sturdy and well planned interior

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This purchase followed a 23-year Kenmore refrigerator which has been a dream. I found many of the same features and lay out that I had enjoyed in that refrigerator. It works beautifully and I am extremely happy with the purchase. Many of the new refrigerators appear on close inspection to compromise on quality. This one seems great. The installers were wonderful also.

Design could have been better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit because it was the only one that would fit into the current space in my kitchen without major rework. Some issues: 1) I can not raise the front high enough to cause the door to close by itself. 2) The refrigerator shelves are full width. Split shelves would make interior utilization much better. 3) the freezer door shelves have a large gap between the actual shelf and the shelf rail. This allows small items (margarine, butter, etc) to fall through. 4) My unit was ordered without an ice maker. It did not come with any ice trays.
