[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my brand new whirlpool fridge/ freezer kept icing..after 6 service calls, Whirlpool replaced it..and the second one has the same problem! freezer ices!

Frig will not cool

Nice looking. Well arranged. Problem is the only way to get the safe zone temperature in the bottom and top is to have both on max. Then it barely makes it. Had tech look at it and can find nothing wrong other than it does not cool. Hoping that eventually it will recover normal op with use.

For the price I paid for, Maybe I should not complain. However I have to mention that this arrived with two dents on the door. I do not know these caused by the factory packing or shipping company. it was too much to return to get a replacement so I accepted.I think the freezer shelved could be improved. The things keeps falling out! The door started squeaking on the 2nd day. (refrigerator)If a person is tall, this could possibly give her/him the back ache! I recommend her/him to stay away. Even I, a very short person(5'2")really have to bend down to use the bottom area and tend to knock my head at the freezer-section's bottom!!Hope I get used to it. After all I am the one who chose it,,,,

The extra large door storage leaves more room shelf storage.

the side by side we had really did not have room for storage. We were always shuffling food around to get to products we wanted, or would forget we had something in back and would end up throwing it out. This new whirlpool has room and easy access to foods and the extra large door storage makes for no wasted space.

Fridge is functionally fine

The functionality of the fridge is standard, but I thought the finish didn't hold up as good as I would have expected. We bought without seeing model because it was one of only ones that fit in the space in our kitchen. Scratches/dents very easily and door handle broke with what I would deem regular use. It is roomy inside which I like, but disappointed that we have only had a year and looks all scratched up.
I would recommend this to a friend!
