I received the refrigerator two weeks ago. It was set up an I was very happy with the interior and exterior design.I was extremely disappointed with the loud noise from the compressor. I am not sure if this is normal or it needs service. Please advise

dissappointed...the frig is less than 8 months old yet the circuit board was damaged. Tech states possible power surge, but nothing else was affected. Tech replaced board quicky and efficiently. Freezer poorly designed...back wall has fan system and you can't put anything up against it?!

Our 22 year old fridge kicked the bucket 2 months ago and we needed a replacement right away. Wanted a sleek, black fridge as all our appliances are black. I'm thrilled with this new appliance. Even though it fits in the same space as our old one it appears to have much greater capacity. Love how bright it is inside and even my husband can find things in it now! Only complaint is that it did not come with ice trays. Glad I hung onto those from the older fridge. We did't purchase the ice maker...just another thing to break down in my opinion.

Don't buy!!

Had to return the first one, didn't get cold.i have the second one about a month, it's working, but I find that it's made very cheaply. The bins are small, and don't hold much. They are very thin plastic, and would crack, if too much is put in them. The handles also are thin hollow plastic,and make a crackling sound, when u pull on them. I know they aren't going to last. Very disappointed in Whirlpool!!
