Great multifunctioning piece of equipment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this machine a couple years ago for our small office. All of the functions are easy to use. There are little extra things, like a special function to copy Insurance cards easily, that are nice to have. I would recommend it to any office.

JUST GOT THIS WORST INSTRUCTION EVER CAN'Y GER DRIVER DISK WON'T READ I HAVE USED COMPUTERS WHEN THEY WERE DOS BASED NEVER HAD THIS MUCH PROBLEM WILL RETURN NO MORE ZEROX

Fast and convenient multi-purpose laser printer

Junk, honestly

Purchased and had to leave sitting in box for a while due to other issues, but when it was finally installed, it worked great for TWO DAYS! Then optical reader apparently failed and all we could use it for was to print - no scanning, no copying,

Printing and scannin OK but I don't quite trust it

Bought it a couple of months ago. It took two half hour calls to Xerox in the U.S. to persuade mybrand-new printer to accept drivers and retain print and fax settings. It now works OK as long as it is left in sleep mode, but if I switch off at the mains for any reason, when I fire it up again I get a variety of status error messages - "Reinstall toner cartridge", "Unable to enter sleep mode" etc., etc. Mechanicals may be OK but electronics seem flaky. Control panel is trickier to use and less intuitive than on any previous printer. It does the job - for now - but doesn't inspire confidence for longer term reliability.
