Setup On a Mac is a Nightmare

Thought connecting to my older network might be a challenge, but got thru that with flying colors. Setting up the printer using the Epson downloaded software was frustrating! Finally, after after several tries, (and several hours!) was able to get it to initialize using a user video on YouTube. Tried several times to initialize using the software method - sceer indicated it was initializing after loading ink, but no sound coming from printer, and in fact, it wasn't actually initializing, despite what the screen indicated.Tried using the small screen on the printer to set up - no success. Directions on the 6 tiny pages are confusing and conflict with the software setup instructions. (ex: "after loading ink, press and hold? for 5 seconds+ - what does that mean????) Finally, after boxing up to return to store, and then unboxing for the 3rd time, and following a user video on line, in a with pushing every button including home screen, the printer actually went thru an initialization (with printer sounds this time!) and printer started working! IF YOU HAVE READY FOR A MAC, BE PREPARED FOR A 4 HOUR CHALLENGE! Epson Eco Tank units were not designed with Mac people in mind!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow!! I love it. Although it took time to set up, the directions the printer came with were excellent. I was worried about wireless connectivity but it automatically connected to both my IPhone and my IPad. The best part is that I no longer have to buy expensive ink cartridges. Print quality is very good.

My friend suggested this as the best printer she's ever had. I'm not having her experience. This thing sucks! It's only printing the test page and the last page of any document i try to print.

Amazing Printer

Summing this printer in two words… Game changer! So many cool features, my favorite would be saving money on ink. No longer having to purchase replacements every 3 months. I print a lot for my small business and images are clear and nicer. Color really pops, and you can print photos from this printer. I printed a few photos just to test and I love how they come out. I don’t have to order prints anymore. Another few features to mention, no wires at all! Such a clean look. Printer connects to your phone so you and everyone in your house can print from their phones. Built in scanner and works so good on my wifi. I never had a issue with the wifi and that is a plus. I recommend for everyone to purchase this printer you will not regret it! This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-2800 Wireless Color Supertank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Minus the very small LCD display the printer performs good for a printer in this price range. The savings in ink costs will be appreciated over the years.
