This monitor is built well and has great features!

This monitor is sleek and has the best screen quality I have ever had on a monitor. It being a smart monitor also means I can easily share my phone screen to it when I haven't shared pictures to my computer.

I love everything about this monitor from the size to the over all look of it. Whenever I have family over they always see it and say wow I love it. I use to have 3 monitors before this one and when I saw the price and the size I said I have to buy this one. The only thing you should add to this monitor is the lights on the back of it.

Clear picture I have also a 4k oled monitor and I still use this monitor more for single player games. The preset settings it offers are great also and make the colors extremely vivid even compared to my Alienware 4k monitor. Definitely recommend this monitor for single player enthusiasts. I can’t go back to any other monitor for single player games. If you do not have this monitor you are not gaming properly.

It is absolutely amazing. This was my first time buying an oled and it does not disappoint. I did buy this on sale, but it was worth every penny. The colors pop extremely well. I dont like turning my brightness up, I tested it. It gets fairly bright, not as bright as other panels have tried. But really good. Still
I also like the t v function.I don't normally use it to watch actual t v but I do use it to watch streaming services and it works. Do wish it had some sort of oled pixel clean up, but it has 3 year warranty so not too worried. You do have to go into windows and fix up the text problems, or at least I did, but I got it to a good point. Also it is just windows, the text looks absolutely fine when using samsungs software.

Beautiful Monitor Held Back by Hardware Choices

QD OLED is migraines. Beautiful monitor, terrible for reading and productivity work.
If QD OLED wasn't so terrible in blue light, and instead were Tandem or VA Mini LED, if it had 4K, PWM flickering was less (Comes with QD) and if windows cleartype weren't so brutal on oled I actually would love this monitor for what it is. Also the remote is kind of annoying/settings are difficult to work with

Comes with a solid stand as well as hdmi, dp, usb plugs, remote, and a vesa mount adapter. Lots of options come with the monitor to use as a tv source. I have used this monitor for gaming and work and it has performed very well. The difference using OLED over conventonal panel is night and day and has made my gaming experience so much better. I 100% recommend this monitor to anyone looking to upgrade their experience!

Naturally, when the opportunity came to buy the new Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED, I was intrigued but cautious—could it really be that good without being fully 4K as the previous G8 is? The answer, as I’ve discovered, is a resounding yes.
Straight out of the box, the G8 OLED impressed me. It’s lighter, thinner, and noticeably wider than its predecessor. The design is sleek and modern, with that signature Samsung quality that I’ve come to expect. But it wasn’t just the aesthetics that caught my eye; the moment I powered it up, I realized this monitor is more than just a pretty face.
One of the most surprising features of the G8 OLED is its versatility. This isn’t just a monitor—it’s also a fully functioning smart TV. With a Quantum Dot OLED panel, it offers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and exceptional contrast. The built-in voice commands, a suite of apps, an active voice amplifier, and much more to elevate this monitor to a full entertainment hub that all fits nicely on my desk. The Samsung Gaming Hub is particularly noteworthy, offering access to Xbox, Luna, and a range of other gaming apps. I have this monitor connected to a super high-end PC because, quite frankly, only the best monitor can match its capabilities.
