I had this combo wall oven and microwave installed three weeks ago. I really enjoy the clea, smooth, slick look of this appliance. I replaced a former GE Profile wall oven and microwave which came with the house in 2004. This appliance has definitely improved in all previous problem categories. The interior of both the microwave and oven are much larger. The microwave can accommodate a large family sized frozen dinner and the oven can fit a normal sized pizza pan. The interior of the microwave does not have the plastic/painted interior that peeled like an onion. The entire appliance is much quieter than the previous model. So far, I am thinking this was an excellent purchase on my part. I like how it appears to be a double oven vice the previous model. This has the door handles parallel and congruent to each other. It cooks exactly as expected; time and temperature. I love all the features, especially the speed cooking!
Used for one week and so far fears of a larger learning curve were abated. Works great, looks great. The true test will be 10 years from now when appliances hit their 10 year self destruct mode.
This is our first wall oven and it is excellent. The top is a microwave that is strong enough to act as a second oven. In truth, we use it more than the actual oven. The features are fairly easy to use and covers most items from heating water or milk to cooking hamburgers.
First there is only one timer shared between the microwave & oven which is frustrating when I am using both at the same time. Second, the timer is very quiet so you cannot hear it - even when I'm in the kitchen. Third, the oven (& microwave) timer only beeps once so if you miss hearing it, you won't realize that it beeped.
It doesn't matter if an appliance cooks evenly if you overcook all the food because you can't hear the timer go off.
