New, broken oven

We had to have GE reapairmen out 5 times the first month after it was installed because the cooling fan wasn't working. That meant we didn't have a working oven for over a month. We also discovered the "speed cooking" option is really speed cooking. Our normal 10 min of cooking a pizza was 21 minutes and the dough was raw. We were also told it had an iPhone app which we later found out was untrue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking, diverse and powerful cooking center

I had an older version of a GE cooking center (about 15 years old) and I only replaced it with this model because I was remodeling my kitchen ... and I'm so happy that I did. The fit and finish of the appliance is first rate, and the controls are very easy to use and understand. But don't let the looks fool you, this appliance isn't just pretty, it's a workhorse kitchen appliance that gives me all the benefits of a standard double wall oven with the added flexible power of a top oven that serves as a microwave, speed cooking and convection oven, as well as broiling, toasting, and warming/proofing! Another great appliance from GE!

Wonderful appliance

I bought this the week before Christmas and was afraid to cook Christmas dinner in it since I had no idea how it would do. It did just fine and everyone was happy with the results. The only problem is that the microwave is in 15 second increments. If I want something for 12 seconds or 25 I can't do it.

Versatile, easy to use, easy to keep clean

Spent more than I would have normally, but after reading the reviews, and enjoy cooking lots of different types of food, this oven fits the bill and more! Microwave can do it all, but I also love cooking baked goods with the convection, and meats with the probe. Perfect cookies every time and I never have to pierce my meat to be sure it is done, losing vital juices in the process. If you love cooking, this workhorse will make you proud of your decision to buy!

Just have had it installed a little over a week but has all kind of features. Microwave cooks well and oven has done good on its maiden use. Looks good and saves some counter space

My old oven & microwave worked better

Really bummed with performance. Oven takes forever to pre-heat & microwave takes longer time compared to my previous Whirlpool. Lack of backlit buttons is also disappointing

I like my oven(s) with the exception of the speed cook option in the upper microwave/speed cook/convection oven. The appliance store did not tell me how speed cook worked, i.e., there is so much moisture in there--I do not like that. It's not a speedy dry heat, which is what I thought it was going to be. And, it didn't cook my baked potatoes any better than microwaving them, which I don't like anyway. but the double oven option worked well for me in my kitchen. Otherwise, I would have had to get a under-the-counter micro, which I didn't want. I also like the interior composition of the upper micro etc. oven. I almost didn't buy it though because of the way the upper oven door opened. I would have preferred a side-opening door.

Piece of junk

it's started giving problem with in 18 months. I was expecting GE appliances parts are more reliable and will come long since it's expensive. But felt not worth the money. So disappointed.
