Free up your countertop--ditch everything else!

We have a miniscule (6' x 12') kitchen that we just completely renovated and we opted for this so that we could eliminate the microwave and toaster over that we previously used. I cannot say enough about how happy we are that we opted for this! It cleans/cooks beautifully--well worth the investment.

It appears to be well made and works exactly as advertised. We were concerned about all the settings but it is actually easy to use. Looking forward to years of use. Really excited about the combo microwave/convection/broiler. It works!! The oven is larger inside than the old one despite fitting into the same space, and the three racks are a plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So glad we got the Avantium! The microwave can be used for baking or broiling and quick cook feature when you don’t want to use the full size oven.

I wish the microwave would let you enter a precise time (say 10 seconds) rather than 15 second increments. sometimes i have things to defrost (for example, butter or a slice of bread) that only need 8-10 seconds, but because 15 seconds is the shortest amount of time allowed, i need to stand there and wait and stop it at the time i desire, rather than let it overheat or melt. Very inconvenient. Plus it takes way too long to preheat the oven. over 10 minutes. I thought that fast pre-heating was one of the benefits of an electric over. :( That said, the other features are not all that useful. i still don't understand the whole "Advantium" thing. I'll probably never use it. kind of a waste of money just to get a wall oven and built in microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The GE combination oven and microwave/convection oven above it fit perfectly into the wall space where my previous appliances were, and the oven size is actually larger than my previous oven. The brushed satin finish matches my dishwasher and refrigerator. While I have not yet used my lower oven, I have used the microwave, and it is quiet and has a cooling feature my old one did not have.

The microwave/convection combo is works so good and is very convenient. The height, the way the door opens and the setup are superior. The lower oven is also really nice and the glider shelf(s) are really nice to have.
