Really like this combination microwave /oven. My only criticism is that it takes longer than I like to preheat

I love it! The only downside and maybe it's just me reading the owner's manual, the convection oven turns off when you open the over door! Is it supposed to do that!

I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for a few little things like the sound of the chime being a little weak or the fact that after you take something out you have to press a clear button to reset everything. It does take a ridiculous amount of time to warm the oven up. We’re talking 15-20 mins depending on the temp you’re going to. But other than that it is great. We love the microwave and all it features.

We purchased our oven combination as an upgrade with our builder. They convinced us we would love this set up. The advantium micro/oven has great features. I am just learning all of them. My two complaints are: the door on the microwave should open side to side not up and down. I am 5’2 and when I try to get food out I burn my arms or chest. It is a poor design for removing food. The second complaint is having to change the glass round tray for the metal round tray. If you don’t have a big enough storage space it is a pain to keeping changing. Great features but poor design.

This oven have being a great addition to my kitchen! I love that I can make multiple things at the same time. It's a tool that we use everyday, multiple times a day. You can proof your dough, melt your butter, bake your cookies in the microwave! The only thing I don't like is that I can't reach the back of the microwave to clean it and I'm 5'4".

I was not familiar with convection ovens before using this product. It comes with a regular oven on the bottom, and a combo microwave/convection oven on the top, along with different accessories to use, depending on whether you need to microwave something or use the convection oven feature. You just select "Upper Oven - Microwave" or "Upper Oven - Convection" to be able to choose which feature to use. For "Lower Oven," you select "Bake" and set the temperature. It has been very handy to be able to have extra space for baking and microwaving with the roomy interior. For the lower oven, there are three movable racks so that you can make more room for large items or stack several pans or casserole dishes in at once. I am really looking forward to inviting family guests over for special events now that I have so much baking room!

Afraid of My Microwave

We did a major renovation in the fall of 2017. We purchased this wall unit. The lower baking oven works great. The upper convection/microwave very randomly makes a buzzing electric sound and then there are flashes of electricity. I am VERY careful about what I put in the oven. It happened again today when I wrapped a frozen bagel in paper towel to heat for 30 seconds. It sometimes happens when I am heating my tea in a microwave safe mug. It scares the heck out of me! It can be fine for a day or even a week, but eventually will make the noise (and worse it looks like an electrical short circuit with the misfiring of light waves). What is this?!!! Hoping someone from GE will respond with advice.
