Great so far.

I decided to upgrade when I bought this. Wasn't sure it was going to be worth it but now having had it for a number of weeks I am happy with the purchase. I don't have the 240 model, didn't know it was an option so I don't see the really large time savings but I would say on many items it cuts time in about half. That was not the bigger reason I bought it. I have baked bread, muffins, cooled meats, fish and a number of other things. There is a learning curve in getting it's full potential and I'm working on that. I was impressed with a couple of salmon fillets I cooked. I'm picky about fish being overcooked. I have lived on the water most my life and love fish but rarely order it in restaurants because of how it's cooked. Figured I would try the speed cook option for salmon, pressed start and didn't touch it. Maybe beginners luck but it came out perfect, juicy all the way through. Can't speak to reliability yet and still getting used to it but really like it. The proofing capability was also great. We found we can do everything in it we used a large toaster oven for which cleared up much needed counter space. Be aware of the learning curve but if I was moving I would buy one for my next house. Have not found any cons yet unless the changing of base plates for oven or microwave use is a con for you.

Beautiful! Versatile but missing key option

I absolutely LOVE my new double wall oven- it has so many options for cooking and baking and love that the top oven is also a microwave so no additional appliances. The one option it’s missing is the option to turn off turn table. I wanted to microwave a large platter and couldn’t because the turntable kept trying to spin it and it had hit the door a few times . I would recommend that option for the microwave feature

Nice combo

This is our second combo wall oven/ microwave. The first one lasted about 12 years. I like the idea of the centralized controls, but the amount of time and selection prompts on the microwave portion is a bit tedious.

Horrible service

I have had this less than a year. When we first installed it took 6 weeks to get the parts to fix it. We have now been without the oven for 3 weeks and not even a response from the serviceman. I just want them to replace the unit. My warranty expires in less than a month and it hasn't worked for 2 of the last 11 month. Not right!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A World of Uses

What we love most about this appliance is the broad range of capabilities that this appliance enables in the kitchen....it's like three appliances in one sleek unit. Convection modes in both oven and microwave opens up a wide range of cooking options. Intuitive and simple control menus guide you to select the optimum settings for what you are trying to achieve.

A classy adjunct to my kitchen

Once you learn the controls, it will do just about anything with a minimum of fuss. My one complaint, if it can be called that, is manipulating the shelves in the lower oven.

Is this oven smarter than me?

We just replaced the old 2008 model of a GE profile MW and Oven with this new model. The improvements are spectacular. The upper MW can also bake and broil and supports Convection cooking just like the lower oven. Our old one could not do that. They enlarged the turntable and also allows you to stack 2 items at the same time. The control panel has over 170 settings for various types of food and once you select what you want it sets everything to the proper setting to cook your food properly.
